Corporate Structure
DOEMENS e.V. is the non-profit, umbrella organization of Doemens.
At the core of Doemens e.V. is the Doemens Academy, a state-accredited school providing instruction in brewing and beverage technology in addition to various programs for educating students to become master craftsmen in subject areas of beer, beverages and food.
The Savour Academy offers a wealth of opportunities for specialization based on a fundamental understanding of beer and mineral water, emphasizing the intrinsic value of these products and their potential for enhancing one’s enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures.
Currently, the Savour Academy’s best-known program is the training to become a certified Beer Sommelier.
DOEMENS Academy GmbH is a 100 % subsidiary of Doemens e.V. and is divided into two sections, Seminars and Consulting.
The Consulting section – in addition to traditional consulting in matters concerning equipment, technology and economics – comprises laboratory support and analysis, offers assistance in research and development as well as a wide variety of services for the international brewing, beverage and food industries.
The Seminars section encompasses training and seminars for education and specialization in all aspects of beverage technology, whether it be seminars in Gräfelfing or in-house company training sessions at locations around the world. In cooperation with the Siebel Institute in the USA, Doemens offers brewing science courses in English at the World Brewing Academy.
