Brewing and Beverage Technologist
Successful graduates of this course will earn the title of "State Certified Brewing and Beverage Technologists" and have the option of choosing to take the master's certificate examination for "Production Manager for Brewing and Beverage Technology (Chamber of Industry and Commerce)".
The full-time course of study, conducted in German, takes 4 semesters and is intended for skilled personnel in the brewing and beverage industry looking to qualify for positions at the management level.
The coursework focuses on the technology of malt and beer production, as well as modern manufacturing practices for soft drink production. Innovative processes in production and quality assurance are taught along with comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance and industrial hygiene. Technical subjects such as systems engineering, measurement and control technology are completed with business skills and the knowledge of industrial law and organizational psychology.
