Chemical-technical Analytical Services

The chemical-technical test laboratories of the Doemens Technikum are mainly used in the fields of Consulting or Research & Development.

 

 

 

Analyses are carried out in the following areas at that or assigned to competent partners: 

• Analysis of raw materials for beer production such as e.g. malt, brewing water, hops, grain and other adjuncts
• Analysis of raw materials for the production of non-alcoholic beverages (water, basic material, etc.)
• General examinations of intermediate and finished products in the beverage production sector
• Analysis of consumables and supplies (e.g. filter aids)
• Special analyses: Determination of e.g. the content of sweeteners or preservatives in non-alcoholic beverages with HPLC or gas chromatography determination of fermentation by-products within the scope of beer production
• Trace analysis: Determination of minerals and heavy metals with AAS/ICP in all sorts of products and production stages of beverage production
• Pollutant analysis: among others determination of nitrosamines in malt
