Research and Development

Doemens emphasizes practice-oriented research and product development, while maintaining its hallmark as a institution offering a practice-oriented, scientifically sound education.

In addition to official research projects, other projects in are conducted in cooperation with the industry and practical issues are examined in conjunction with customers in smaller projects.

There are pilot plants such as pilot brewery, pilot malt house, pilot bottling and packaging plant as well as machines for soft drink and food production available for the implementation of research assignments and the development of new products (please refer to the following pages for plant details and capacities).

The associated analysis is carried out in a timely manner and directly on-site at the existing chemical-technical and microbiological test laboratories.

Doemens lecturers and experts support research projects and product development with their in-depth, specialized knowledge.
