Professional support in microbiological quality assurance

The Doemens laboratory provides microbiological services and conducts testing in the following areas:

  • microbiological testing for yeast, wort, beer and non-alcoholic beverages
  • microbiological testing of raw materials used in the production of beverages
  • percentage of living cells in production yeast
  • analysis of processing aids and operating supplies (e.g. filter aids) 
  • hygienic monitoring and weak-point analysis in beer and beverage production within the framework of a multiple step quality control regimen
  • Detection and identification of pre-enriched samples through microscopic analysis
  • Identification of beverage-spoiling bacteria and yeast strain differentiation by means of PCR analysis
